Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
1. Deposit Terms
– All bookings require a non-refundable deposit to secure the yacht and time slot.
– The deposit is credited toward the total cost but will not be refunded under any circumstances.
2. Final Payment
– The full balance must be paid 1-2 days before the charter date.
– If payment is not received in time, the booking will be canceled, and the deposit forfeited.
3. Weather Policy
– If unsafe weather conditions occur (e.g. storms or lightning), the charter may be rescheduled or credited
(voucher valid for 12 months).
– Overcast, wind, or light rain are not valid reasons for cancellation.
4. Rescheduling
– Charter dates may only be changed with at least 7 days’ notice, subject to availability.
5. Late Arrival or No-Show
– Charters begin and end as scheduled. Late arrival will not extend your time.
– No-shows are considered cancellations with no refund.
6. Security Deposit

– Some yachts require a refundable security deposit, depending on the vessel.
– It will be refunded within 3-5 business days if no damage is reported.
– If damage occurs, Marevia Yachts may retain part or all of the deposit.
